SUBMISSIONS

E-mail low res scans, PSDs, PDFs, JPGs, GIFs, DOCs, or PNGs of your work or writing samples for consideration. We will get back to you within 2 days with feedback regarding your work and if you meet our current needs.

 

REQUIREMENTS

ARTIST/PENCILERS

  1. 8-10 consecutive story pages demonstrating your skill at drawing sequential art
  2. Make sure the art you send is actual size, reduced to 72 dpi
  3. 1-2 samples of cover art
  4. Do your homework. Ensure that your art is acceptable by bouncing it off a few friends or getting a professional to look at it beforehand. We’d hate to waste your time.

WRITERS

  1. A short-story synopsis. Be as clear and concise as possible, maintaining consistency with the Cranium Comics ideology.
  2. Full script –samples of published work. If you don’t have any published work, send the first 8 pages of a made up issue, insuring that the plot is clear and easy to follow.
  3. Do your homework. Ensure that your script is quality by bouncing it off a few friends or getting a professional to look at it beforehand. We’d hate to waste your time.

COLORISTS

  1. 5 Pages of art showing your diversity in balloons, sound effects and font choice.
  2. No logos please. Send final files via email in jpg, gif, or pdf file format per instructions.
