That's great! I think it's so cool that it seems to have gotten bigger and bigger. Yeah, I was hoping to be there to document it, but I wasn't able to this year. Glad it turned out really well. I taught a Summer Camp class on creating comics where I promoted it pretty heavily. Oh wow - you're in that first pic? That's awesome!

Hey Bill -

Thanks for responding. Although this is an article that strictly deals with comic viewers and applications that allow users to interact with comics in an online format, I do plan on doing a write up on comic generators in the future. During that time, I'll be sure to include yours. I appreciate the post.

Dear Cranium Comics,
Hope you'll add to your list of fun, useful comic generators MakeBeliefsComix.com. The site offers 80 characters with different emotions, blank talk and thought balloons to fill in with text, story prompts and printables. You can email and print completed comic strips. Not only is the site fun, but it's being used by educators from 180 countries to teach English and encourage writing, reading and storytelling. You can write your text in seven languages, too. Teachers and therapists who work with children with special needs or who are disabled also use the site to help their patients communicate ideas and thoughts. Please try it out. I welcome your feedback.
Sincerely,
Bill Zimmerman

Awesome @Phoenix! I hope you had a good time at the event. I think it's great that Libraries are doing things like this now. When I was a kid, there was hardly anything even close. I'm looking forward to more things like this in the future.

Just saw "The Intergalactic Nemesis" on Saturday and really enjoyed it. You could tell the actors were talented and spent a lot of time working together on this project. Buzz Moran was on cue and looked to be really enjoying his role. The real star of the show, I think, was Graham Reynolds. The score was fantastic, and his performance was so good that you sometimes forgot that he was there playing it live. As with any great score, the music was never too conspicuous. Great job all around.

I'll be interested to see if the next installment follows the same format or if there will be a new twist in the production.

I had been googling for some info on this exact subject. Thanks for putting it together. Is this something you'll be doing every year? If so, that would be terrific :). I'll check back periodically to find out how you responded. Thanks, Ken

Excellent read. I use comiclife myself. I found it easier than doing all layer, balloons, dialogue text, etc. I also self published a comic with Ka-Blam.
