About Cranium Comics
SUMMARY
Cranium Comics is an independent publishing entity that challenges traditional comic conventions with intelligent and sophisticated storytelling. We create titles that combine thought provoking writing, creative and gritty artwork, and a constantly questioning perception of good & evil. We don’t believe we need some Comic Oversight Committee approval or high dollar marketing executives to tell great stories. Our comics are never compromised by committee decisions because we are driven by the stories themselves, not business “suits” and/or financial deadlines. The focus of Cranium Comics is to tell great stories while maintaining our own high standards & values. Our stories often reflect relevant social issues, principles, and deliver content from a variety of unique viewpoints. You will not find embossed covers, fancy die-cuts, character trading card inserts, or any other gimmicks in our publications. What you will find is a commitment to ensuring that you, the reader, aren’t wasting your time with us.
MISSION
Cranium is not in it to make a quick buck. Our mission is to give anyone who once collected comics an interesting, independent alternative to the mainstream publications. Our goal will be achieved through continuous improvement and evolution of our own work, combined with community acceptance and growth.
Our reputation to the integrity of the stories is of the utmost importance. By producing a top-notch quality product, we hope to maintain credibility in the community and build upon a history of interesting and engaging stories.
WHO WE ARE
Cranium is currently made up of one writer, one art director, and one artist. We are looking for additional writers and artists who share in the vision of making entertaining comics that focus on great visual storytelling.
